Instructions for Use

1) Clean teeth with plain pumice using a rotating bristle brush or rubber cup. Rinse thoroughly.

2) Isolate and air-dry the bonded surfaces. Etching is not required.

3) Syringe a thin layer of the cement directly onto the tooth-bearing surfaces of the band.

4) Immediately seat band onto tooth. Final band adjustment must be made before the cement begins to cure from the ambient light, approximately 60 seconds.

5) Sure Ortho Light Band Cement Blue can be easily wiped away with a cotton roll before it starts setting or removed with a scaler after it has set. The blue color of the uncured cement helps identify access material.

7) Light cure for 20 seconds from two opposite directions.

8) Keep teeth isolated for 3 min after last bond.

9) When bonding to Amalgam, roughen amalgam surface with a diamond bur or with a Micro Etcher prior to applying the Sure Ortho Light Band Cement Blue.

Precautions

Refrigeration will increase viscosity, making syringing more difficult, and will retard setting time.

Contains polymerizable monomers which may cause allergic contact dermatitis in susceptible persons. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after contact. If skin sensitization occurs, or if known allergy to methacrylate resin exists, discontinue use.

Storage

Do not expose to temperature exceeding 24ºC/75ºF.

Do not expose to direct sunlight.

Refrigerate for maximum shelf life. Do not freeze.

Recap syringe after each use.

Shelf life is 24 months from date of manufacture.
