Warning

Liquid and mixed cement are corrosive.

1) In case of contact with oral tissue or skin, remove immediately with cotton wool soaked in alcohol. Flush with water.

2) In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with water and seek medical attention.

3) DO NOT mix powder or liquid with glass ionomer components from any other

system.

4) Direct contact with eugenol-based products is to be avoided. Eugenol inhibits the setting of Glass Ionomer sealers.

Instructions for use 

Tooth preparation

Clean the tooth surface with pumice and water, prophy cup or brush

Mixing

Fluff the powder bottle before dispensing by shaking in an up and down motion for 5 seconds. The recommended Powder : Liquid ratio is 1 orange scoop of powder to 4 drops of liquid. This is equivalent to a P:L ratio of 0.20g/0.11g.

Shake the liquid bottle also before dispensing.

For accurate dispensing of the liquid, hold the liquid bottle vertically upside down. Allow air bubbles to escape before dripping. If the liquid clogs at the top of the nozzle, remove it with damp gauze to dispense correctly next time.

Discard non-full drops (drops with air bubbles) of liquid.

After use, tightly close both liquid and powder bottles to prevent exposure to moisture.

Mixing time

Place one level scoop of powder and four drops of liquid onto the paper pad. Divide the powder into two equal parts with the plastic spatula. Incorporate the first portion into the liquid, and mix for about 10 seconds. Add the second part and mix the whole for 10-15 seconds. Total mixing time should not exceed 20-25 seconds. The material is designed for use at room temperatures of 21-25°C (69.8-77.0°F).

Working time

The working time is 3 minutes from the onset of mixing at 23°C (73.4°F).

Higher temperatures or increased powder: liquid will shorten the working time, and lower temperatures will delay it.

Band cementation

Place cement on interior of band in the usual manner. Seat band on tooth. Remove excess cement. Wires can be attached after a setting time of 5 minutes.
